Ceremony

My dear bride groom, As You prepare our banquet, I ask, take charge of my house, Run it with Your grace. I lovingly display, These windows for Your judgement, Let Your mercy shine through them, That they may be cleansed. I submit to Your light, Renew my heart to softness, Smooth over the sharp edges, So it absorbs hate. I am but a servant, I take You, as my only God, A declaration to hold, from this day forward. I am devoted to You, for the better or the worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and health. You have me to hold You,  To cherish You when I’m blessed, To praise You in the valley, Death cannot part us.

Battle of the "God's"

It is said, ‘Do not test the Lord your God,’ He is the God of every living thing, He formed the world and crafted the Heavens, He brings rain, yet can also bring fire. God brought a drought that lasted three years, Commanded His prophet, flee to safety, A stream for water, raven's gathered food, God is a God who provides daily bread. God can bring about endless abundance, God will sustain the needs of His servants, Glory be to God, Father of all light, Redeemer of our lost tormented souls. His stories are endless, His deeds are good, His love for us is never running dry, His source of grace flows from His huge heart, He will never forsake righteous people. Elijah trusted the All-Powerful, He stood before king Ahab fearlessly, He confirmed Ahab as the cause of drought, He knew God would protect Him, so stood firm. Now let us see the one true God who reigns, Test your “God,” for He will never answer, Baal does not respond, pray louder to Him. Baal does not come, He must be too busy. ...

My Psalm 6

Adopted

Oh Father, I lack nothing under Your watchful eye, You see trouble arise and You lift me up. I can disappoint, bring shame upon myself, Yet You still love me unconditionally. Keep me in Your Kingdom, living eternal, That I may gaze upon Your face every day. Teach me all that is right my Heavenly Lord, That some may see all the good works that You do. Forgive me when I act like a selfish child, Use the opportunity to help me grow. One day soon I will finally walk upright, From shadowy footsteps to mer ciful light.

Prayer of Unity

Oh Lord of light, Who builds His kingdom in the darkness, Spreading goodness through Abraham's bloodline. Move the mountains, Mighty God, That they will not cause stumbling, But instead be like a city on a hill for all to see. We praise You for the footsteps left by Your son, Jesus Christ, Guiding us to a resurrection day, Teaching us how to truly forgive, even those who are against us. Let us take rest at Your feet, God, Filling our cups to overflow with the life-giving waters at the well of Sychar (si-car,) Where outcasts can join together in unity. May our roots spring forth, Let Your will be done, across all continents, Without barriers to hold it back. Soar through the skies like an Eagle, Swooping down, grasping the weak, That they will gain safety under the shadow of Your fleeting wings. Let Your Spirit come upon all of Your servants, To give us the courage of a lion, That we can stand firm when facing adversity. Let us unite under Your banner, Lord, That one day we can all ...

My Mountain

My God, seated upon the highest mountain, A monument from the foundation you laid, You are my rock, a towering fortress in the sky, Where clouds engulf the earth. I flee to you for safety, A fortified position of strength, Where only the wise will tread, Your aura can be felt for miles. Fleeting winds surround You, My enemies dare not come near, You bring a thunderous wrath, An echoing shout rumbling through valleys. Yet for me, Your summit calmly rains down blessings, Life giving water springs growth around, Soaking through for firm roots, Flowing in my veins, up to my heart. Come with me Lord, Let’s take this love wherever we go, Like the tabernacle set on Jerusalem, You are  the mountain in me.
