Psalms 121: Interpretation.
In my darkest times,
Blinded by putting myself first,
The waves carry me away,
A consequence of all my sin.
I become lost from You,
With no pathway for me to tread,
Unable to see Your face,
Darkness may as well take my soul.
The present consumes,
Lack of safety leaves me weakened,
The moment swallows all truth,
An attempt to cast lies on me.
I remember rest,
Looking to You my dear friend,
Breathe, wait, for You will soon come,
My Saviour, You will always be.
I remember You,
The one who gave me a new life,
I focus in Your aura,
Darkness can’t coexist with light.
And then as I look up,
Your glow breaks through all my despair,
In the clouds, on the mountains,
Is where my saving grace resides.
My help arrives fast,
Your perspective grants You vision,
In a moment You end pain,
Thank You, for who am I to You?
You are my help, oh Lord,
You would move the Heavens for me,
Creator of all things good,
Your love has made me whole again.
